Privacy Policy

MindYourPuzzle (“the app”, “we”) is a puzzle platform available on the web and as a mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run the product — no ads, no trackers, no selling of data.
What we collect
- Account info. If you sign in, we store your email address (used only to authenticate you) and an optional display name you choose.
- Gameplay data. Which puzzles you’ve solved, solve times, hints used, and your 1v1 / Gauntlet match results and ratings. This powers your profile, leaderboards, and matchmaking.
- Sign-in with Google (optional). If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your email and basic profile to authenticate you. We don’t access anything else in your Google account.
We do not collect location, contacts, device identifiers for advertising, or any data we don’t need to run the game.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in across devices.
- To record your solves, ratings, and match history.
- To match you with opponents and show leaderboards.
Where it’s stored
Data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, on secured infrastructure. Access is protected by row-level security so you can only read and write your own data (leaderboards show display names and ratings only).
Sharing
We don’t sell or rent your data. The only data visible to other players is your display name and ratings on leaderboards and in matches. We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the app (Supabase for storage and auth; Google if you use Google sign-in).
Your choices
- You can edit your display name any time in your profile.
- You can permanently delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Delete account). This immediately removes your account, solves, ratings, and match records. You can also email us (see below) and we’ll do it for you.
- You can play many puzzles without signing in at all.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
