The rules
- Guess a valid 5-letter English word.
- Green — right letter, right position.
- Yellow — the letter IS in the word, but not here.
- Gray — the letter is not in the word at all.
- Find the word in 6 guesses or fewer to win.

How to play here
Type on your keyboard or tap the on-screen keys. Press Enter to submit a guess; ⌫ to delete. Tiles flip to show your feedback. The keyboard colors track which letters you’ve used.

A starting tip
Open with a word rich in common vowels and consonants (CRANE, SLATE, AUDIO). Two or three green/yellow tiles from the opener dramatically narrow the field.
