Mini Sudoku · how to play
Six rows, six columns, six boxes.
Mini Sudoku is a 6×6 Sudoku — the same idea as the classic 9×9, but faster. Great as a warm-up or a quick ranked round.
The one rule
Fill the grid so that each row, each column, and each 2×3 box contains the digits 1 to 6 exactly once. No digit repeats in any row, column, or box.
The boxes
The grid is split into six 2-row × 3-column boxes (outlined with the thick borders). Each box must also hold 1–6 once. Here’s a completed grid — notice every row, column and outlined box uses each digit exactly once:
How to solve
Start where a row, column, or box is nearly full — the missing digit is forced. Use Notes (pencil marks) to track candidates in tricky cells, and Check to catch mistakes against the solution. With only six digits, most Mini Sudokus fall quickly once you spot the first few forced cells.
