Math Sprint · how to play

Sixty seconds. Solve more than they do.

01

The race

You and your opponent get the same endless stream of short arithmetic puzzles, one at a time. When the clock hits zero, whoever solved more wins. Ties break on accuracy (fewer wrong attempts), then total solve time.

02

Answering

Type the answer — it submits automatically the moment you type the last digit, no Enter needed. A correct answer scores a point and advances you to the next puzzle. A wrong answer counts as a miss, and you stay on the same puzzle until you get it right — so a reckless guess costs you time twice.

03

The difficulty ramp

Puzzles get harder the further you get. The first few are quick warm-ups (47 + 36, 8 × 7), then order-of-operations (3 + 4 × 6), parentheses and exact division, number sequences (5, 12, 19, 26, ?), and finally percentages, means and squares (25% of 320, 7² + 9²). The faster you solve, the harder your stream gets — that’s the point.

04

Fair by design

Both players see the identical sequence, and every answer is checked server-side against the same generator. There’s no way to peek ahead — the next puzzle only arrives once you’ve earned it.
